The Glory of the Lord in Creation

Pastor Zach Prosser

Psalm 8

Creation Rests on Christ the Creator
Matthew 6:26-30; Acts 17:28; Hebrews 11:3; Philippians 4:19; Romans 8:11

V. 2 – Our complete dependence on God is our strength
The Word of God that was spoken at the beginning of creation is still in existence today, and the Holy Spirit is doing the work of creating what God’s Word says about who we are and what we are becoming in Christ

Discuss: How can being fully dependent on God be strength?

God Knows You
Isaiah 49:16; Isaiah 43:1; Psalm 139:16
God is omnipotent (all knowing), but He chooses to forget our sins
God’s thoughts are never random. You are always on God’s mind because He is always with you

We were created to have Dominion
Genesis 1:26; Luke 10:19; Romans 6:14
