  • The Kingdom Life is an Ever-Increasing Life
    • We need to increase to make way for God’s will in our lives (Isaiah 54:2).
      • God increases us to give us a new revelation of who He is (2 Timothy 1:12; 1John 4:4).
    • God is an unfathomable ocean of love (Ephesians 3:17-19).
      • Our love for God increases as we steward it through maturity and growth.
    • The disciples had to increase to become fishers of men (Mark 1:14-20).
      • The word make (v. 17) means “to produce, construct, form, fashion, make ready, prepare, and bring forth.”

  • An Ever-Increasing Life Gives You a Firsthand View of God
    • It is a supernatural life (Mark 9:23; Philippians 4:13).
      • It places a demand on God’s provision and anointing (Philippians 4:19).
    • Your values change when you live an ever-increasing life.
      • The disciples left their jobs to follow Jesus (Mark 1:14-20).
      • We should desire to go to church, tithe, read the Bible, and pray.
    • You give up the right to be safe when you live an ever-increasing life.
      • The disciples were in peril on the sea (Mark 4:35-41).
        • In the storm, however, Jesus becomes our peacemaker.
  • An Ever-Increasing Life is a Life Made By the Spirit
    • We were made in the image of God to do good works (Genesis 1:26; Ephesians 2:10).
    • We are alive in Christ (Acts 1:8; Ephesians 2:4-7).
      • God will do something so remarkable in your life that you will not look the same as you do now.
        • The religious leaders didn’t see the disciples as fishermen, but as followers of Christ.
    • We all drink of the same Spirit (I Corinthians 12:13).
      • Drink from the waters of ever-increasing life (John 4:14, 7:38; Ephesians 5:18).
      • Be planted by the river of life (Psalm 1:1-3).
    • We are the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21).
  • The Ever-Increasing Life is a Life of Divine Purpose
    • God created us for His glory (Isaiah 43:7).
      • We are called to be fishers of men (Mark 1:17)
    • We are to shine the light of Christ and glorify God (Matthew 5:16).
