BIBLE DISCUSSION

1. There are multiple things that can stop or hinder the flow of revival. Here are a few that are common today. Take time to review and discuss what the Bible says about each:

a. Apathy towards God and Others

b. Worldliness

c. Pride or Reputation

d. Institutionalism

e. Liturgy or Formality


2. Read and discuss 2 Chronicles 7:14. God gives us a simple pattern for awakening to happen in the church and in our land. Discuss these elements of this verse and what the Bible says about each:

a. Humility

b. Prayer

c. Pursue His Presence

d. Repentance and Forgiveness


3. How can we live out these four elements from 2 Chronicles 7:14 daily?

Based on the discussion today, what areas do you need support and prayer for? What other prayer needs do you have? Take time to pray for one another.
Journal: Carve out 30 minutes in your week to write about this question: What does a 2 Chronicles 7:14 life look like?
Memorization: Memorize the following Bible verse this week:
