o Jesus shows up

o Based on what the Father is doing in the moment 

o Based on the needs of the crowd
o Focus on proclaiming the Kingdom of God

 When Jesus shows up, we follow His lead
Discuss: Is there a place you’ve programmed your expectations of God? What could happen if you allow Jesus to show up and you follow His lead?

John 13:1-11

 Jesus loves you to the end
o To the end, Jesus’ love didn’t waiver, even for Judas

 Jesus knew the Father gave Him authority of all things
 In that authority, He operated in humility and servanthood

o He knelt to wash the disciples’ feet

o He did what was out of the ordinary for a leader 

 Peter was uncomfortable, but he trusted

o “Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!” (v. 9)

Discuss: What unordinary thing is God asking or trying to do in you that you need to trust Him and let Him move?
