“4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. 7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.”

- John 15:4-8 A Kingdom Life is learning to sow and receive seeds that produce much fruit.

Not every seed sown produces a harvest. Kingdom Living is understanding God’s design for fruitfulness.

Mark 4:1-20

1) The Sower Sows the Word

Discuss: Where does fruitfulness begin? (Mark 4:9) How do we get to the place where we see fruitfulness? (Psalm 1)

• Hear the Word (Matthew 4:4; Psalm 1:2)

• Accept the Word (James 1:21-22; Matthew 7:24-27) – Receive His Word & Act on it

  o Repentance is the result of receiving the Word of God

  Discuss: Discuss a time in your life that you received a Word that brought you to repentance

• Bear Fruit (2 Peter 1:5-8; 2 Peter 1:3) • Multiply
